HEAVY METAL SILICON EFFECT

SURFACE PREPARATION
Surfaces should be cleaned with Brush Solvent T 300, be smooth and dry, free from dust, grease or rust and sanded.
Metal surfaces should be coated with an anticorrosive primer (Anti-Rust Primer, Minio Primer or Metal Primer).
Glossy metal surfaces (aluminum, galvanized steel etc) should be first coated with Primer for Glossy Surfaces or Wash Primer.

APPLICATION
Stir well before use. Due to its high concentration in micaceous iron oxide, it can also be applied directly on metallic surfaces without a primer, as long as a sufficiently thick film of at least 100 μm, is ensured. Apply two coats by roller or brush diluted up to 5% with Brush Solvent T 300 or airless spray gun diluted up to 10-15% with Spray Gun Solvent T 350. Do not apply at temperatures below 5oC, above 35oC and/or relative humidity above 80%.
It is touch dry after 2-3 hours and can be recoated after 16-18 hours. Drying time depends on weather conditions (humidity and temperature).
Clean rollers, brushes, floor stains, etc. with Brush Solvent T 300 and then with soapy water or detergent. Use Spray Gun Solvent T 350 to clean spray guns.
