Description

Best -In- Class-overall performance mat emulsion paint for use on walls. Designed with surface protection technology, the paint film has enhanced resistance to the absorption of common household stains making easier to remove stains even after a long period of time. It provides great hiding power, unrivalled performance, exceptional whiteness and excellent durability to frequent washing (Class 1, EN 13300/ISO 11998). Virtually odorless. Near zero VOC content. It contributes to the best indoor air quality and heathier environment as well, due to the very low emissions of Volatile Organic Compounds. It is certiﬁed with Indoor Air Comfort GOLD, the world’s most rigorous indoor emission rating system.
With antimicrobial activity on the paint ﬁlm (Certiﬁ cates IMSL No 2020/09/053.1B and SGS No AX20-06322.001), according to ISO 22196 and EN 15457 test methods. Has been awarded the British Allergy Foundation top discrimination Seal
of Approval for the reduced levels of allergens and irritants, as a suitable paint for those living with asthma and allergies. Reduced overall CO˛ emissions from cradle to grave cycle. The plastic paint container is made of 50% recycled material.

PREPARATION - APPLICATION

PREPARATION
Surfaces should be smooth, clean and dry, free from grease, dust, loose or flaking paint.
Vitex Care is directly applied on already painted surfaces as long as the old paint is sound.
To fill any cracks or holes use Acrylic Putty or Visto.
Old surfaces previously covered with water paints or distempers (lime wash or ceiling white) should be primed with Acrylan Unco Eco.
New surfaces made of plaster, concrete, cement, plasterboard, etc. should be first primed with Acrylan Unco Eco.
Surfaces stained from smoke, graffity, coffee or any other kind of stain should first be primed with Blanco Eco.
For maximum opacity in dark and intense (such as blue, red and yellow) final shades, it is recommended to apply one coat of PreColor Primer colored - depending on the
final shade - through Vitex Coloring System.

APPLICATION
Application at 5-35°C and <80% RH. The product must be exclusively tinted through Vitex Coloring System in the recommended base. Tools must be cleaned immediately after use with water and if needed, with soapy water or detergent. Allow at least 3 weeks before cleaning and washing newly painted surfaces with Vitex Care. Wash gently with water using a soft sponge. In case of tough stains, use a mild colourless detergent or soapy water.
Dilute up to 10% with water and stir well before use.Apply the first coat by brush, roller or airless spray gun. Recoat after 3-4 hours.
